The “Al Cantinon” restaurant was at one time used as a wine cellar, but has now been completely renovated, with full respect for the original architecture. It has two platforms over the canal, offering customers a splendid view of the typical scenery of the town.
Here, you can find the ancient flavours of the marshland in the typical traditional recipes, such as eel broth, passed down from generation to generation, where eel has become the queen of the table, accompanied by other fish-based specialities or first courses based on fresh pasta.
The excellent game from the marshland is not to be forgotten, with coot risotto and papardelle with hare, mixed raw fish and “catalana”, the latter upon prior booking.
Closed Thursdays.
