In the heart of the city of Comacchio, in the evocative atmosphere of “Trepponti”, the restaurants “Al Cantinon”, “Le Gresine” and the "Bottega del Sale" can be found, managed by the Cavalieri brothers and sisters: Pier Paolo commonly known as “Ghibo”, Fiorella and Dea.
In an ancient and original wine cellar, among alleys and canals, lies the restaurant
“Al Cantinon”. It is increasingly popular with those looking to rediscover the ancient flavours of the marshland in the traditional fish-based specialities, where eel is the absolute protagonist. Excellent fresh pasta dishes, mixed raw fish and “catalana” (boiled shellfish and mixed vegetables), the latter subject to prior booking. On nice days, it is possible to have lunch or evening meals on two splendid platforms over the canal, with a charming view of Trepponti. The live jazz music events from October to March are not to be missed.
In a rustic, family atmosphere,
the old Trattoria “Le Gresine” offers cuisine from the Comacchio hinterland.
From the countryside straight to the table with home-made cured meats, fresh pasta, first courses, soups and tasty second courses.
A fabulous pizzeria completes the choice. The well-stocked wine bar and a tempting snack bar are an invitation for an aperitif.
